Lis Sam comes from the world of street art and is a self-taught artist. He was born in Tunisia in 1989 and came to France at the age of 11, where he entered the world of arts and crafts and developed a great appreciation for aesthetic forms. As is the case with many artists, his new passion was awakened by a chance encounter with a work of art while travelling.

After working on various projects for several years, it was a second encounter that became a clear vocation when he visited a butterfly conservatory in the south of France. That was the birth of the "Blossoming Girls".

The multitude of colourful butterflies fluttering gracefully around him occasionally gave rise to abstract silhouettes, similar to a child observing clouds in which imaginary faces appear.

Mesmerised by the beauty of the spectacle before him, this floating moment is a moment of grace. The lush flora of the conservatory forms a backdrop in which the colours of the butterflies resonate with those of the flowers.

An impression of intense life emanates from this spectacle, urging him to capture it.
