Luigi Rocca was born in 1952 into a family of artists. Influenced from childhood by the photographic works of his grandfather, he has become one of the leading exponents of photorealism. Rocca's life has always been oriented towards artistic content: Art high school, studies of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and repeated study visits to New York - the city full of architecture, advertising and light that inspires him to create great photorealistic motifs.
