As a creator of extraordinary bronze sculptures, the Israeli artist Tolla occupies an exposed position in the art scene. Her coveted works possess a seemingly "floating lightness" and graceful appeal of timeless beauty. The figures are always in dynamic motion, reflecting tension and balance. A special magic emanates from the unique portraits, which involuntarily captivates the viewer and touches our soul to the core. With her sculptures Tolla wants to get to the bottom of the meaning of life, making us feel the uniqueness of humanity as part of the universe. This timeless reality combined with a mysterious sensuality is what makes the artworks so successful. Tolla's sculptures have since won numerous awards and can be found in major museums and art collections in Europe and the USA.

The artist was born in Germany in 1958. Until 1971, she attended the private Merz School in Stuttgart, where she took courses in ceramics and sculpture. From 1977 to 1981 Tolla studied at the Avni Institute of Arts in Tel Aviv. She then went on to study psychology and sociology, followed by further art studies in the years that followed.
